Sharing knowledge and experience, networking and prioritising local perspectives are key in conservation. It was a great pleasure to meet  Roice K.Bwambale ,  Eliud Masereka  and  Masereka godfrey  at  Mother of Hope Foundation Uganda  in Kasese. Thanks for the inspiring and insightful discussion on local solutions that address both: effective conservation and community well-being which have to go hand in hand. Culture and nature are closely intertwined. Indigenous knowledge teaches people to respect and preserve the environment. Cultural institutions can have a strong positive impact on raising awareness of environmental and social issues and the development of society. j oin me on Linkedin
