Thank you Umbrella for Journalists Kasese (UJK) and Musoki Rusia for the fruitful discussions, sharing ideas and experience on questions of conservation , conservation education and humanrights awareness in Kasese . I am happy to start together with you the journey to transformation During the meeting initiated my Musoki Rusia Assiciate Programs Director - Umbrella for Journalists in Kasese, it was realised that human culture and nature are intertwined. It was also found out that conservation education and cultural heritage are areas that have been neglected thus a need to use the p ower of story telling and bridge this communication gap. A number of interventions such as sensitization through community barazas, short documentaries, dialogues on human rights and natural conservation could have a multipier impact.
